Bullpen. I'm apparently clueless.....

Blew two consecutive saves last night in the 9th inning with my closer, Bedrosian (ATG4). Have both starters set to slow hook, bullpen set to conservative, maximize closer. DH league.

HAL pulls P Alexander after 7 innings with a 3-2 lead and Berosian gives up 2 in the bottom of the 9th.

Next game, HAL pulls Bunning after 7 innings with a 3-1 lead and Bedrosian gets hit with a 4 spot in the bottom of the ninth.

Don't see a box to check "Leave the frackin' starter in the game". Any suggestions to how I should be setting this up differently?

You might want to try not maximizing your closer. I think Hal will try us use your closer every save situation with this setting.

I don't usually use this setting on maximize so I'm not positive.

I think Joe the jet is right, don't put your closer on maximize.Maximize is almost the way managers operate now, if it is the ninth then in comes the closer. Nowadays the closer gets huge amount of saves, hardly any wins.Unlike guys like radatz or marshal back in the day who got both.
keep it on slow hook, with closer standard or normal.
