Pitch counts

Does a starting pitcher's individual game pitch count have an effect on his next start - in other words, if my SP throws a 140-pitch complete game, is it possible that he would start his next game already fatigued, even on normal rest? Or does it depend on the quality of the start (say, a 140-pitch shutout is less "tiring" than a six-inning outing in which the pitcher gets shelled?) Or is there no carryover when starting on normal rest? I haven't seen any info in the help file or posts in which pitch counts are specifically mentioned - only that pitchers who are "overused" are more prone to fatigue.

I don't believe the pitch count carries over.

Joethe jet is correct,...starting pitcher pitch counts do NOT carry over from start to start.
