Question about player cards DURING the season.

If a player is RELEASED by a team, and goes back into the pool of free agents, does he then have a chance to draw a different card from a different year, or is he chained for the season to the (probably) bad card that brought about his release ?

For the mystery card games he keeps the same card for the entire season even if he is traded or dropped. In Fantasim his card is reshuffled if he is traded but not if he is dropped.

Otherwise, in the mystery card game you could drop a player, and then pick him up again, hoping he is on a better season. Too much room for abuse there.
