Stopping the bleeding

I've been playing Strat for almost a year now and in that time Ive done pretty well (8 playoff apps., 2 finals apps., 1 championship). at least 8 or 9 other occasions I've had a team in 1st place with 15 games left in the season and all but once that team has missed the playoffs. When a team is in a slump I make changes to the batting order, sometimes the line-up and sometimes the pitching rotation. I've had a team go 3 and 12 over the last 15 (finishing with 2 4 game losing streaks. Any advice on how to stop the bleeding?

Keep using your best players even if they are in a slump.

What LMBombers says is 100 percent accurate. Making the changes you describe increase the chance of a prolonged meltdown.
