Injury to 2nd of 2 catchers w/ 1st already down...

I seem to recall reading here about having an injured catcher re: that if you had only 2 catchers, the remaining catcher could not be injured until the first catcher was eligible to play again. Could someone either confirm that or show that it was merely a fantasy. Much appreciated!

Confirmed. There's value to be had with a couple of high injury catchers on your squad since their price is discounted.

A caveat here:

If your second (and only reserve) catcher is being used in the DH slot, and your main catcher gets injured, for that game HAL will NOT pull your Catcher from the DH Slot, but take a bench player and put him in at backstop. . . Usually at horrendous fielding damage.

I found this out the hard way during a playoff game :oops:

Have discovered this as well, with Piazza the DH and scrub the catcher... moved the reserve third baseman to C when scrubby got hurt, even though Pizza is labeled as the backup.
