Thought I would continue along the lines of an earlier thread. This time is it where do you think it is best to bat Beltran? I have him 4th both ways for his HR power, but he is stinking so far vs RH, although doing well vs LH. Any ideas where is best to put him?

Beltran hits HR's vs. LH's so I usually bat him 4th vs. them.
Vs. RH's, I go with the 6th OR 7th hole.

What park are we talking? Prepare to be underwhelmed if he plays in anything other than a HR park.

Comerica Park. I am presuming Beltran won't do as well as he would in a HR park, but I have never used him before so I thouhgt I would try him. He started off hitting 6th vs RH but i moved him to put Mabry further down the order as Beltran has better OB and TB. I think I may move him down again.

Ouch. Shank - run, don't walk to the FA list. In Beltran, you're putting out 9 mil for a whole lotta fly balls on the warning track. And he's not going to hit for much of an average in your park. I'd avoid all the BPHR CF if I were you (Jones, Hunter, Finley, Beltran...) and would look to either deal up for the usually untouchable Edmonds or opt for a CF more suited to your park, such as Kotsay, Taguchi or Damon.
