no minimum, my guess is that we will get 5 to 8 players off our team, plus 3 draft picks, and the rest from the AD.


What do people think of additional live draft rounds? rounds 4 through 7 would be serpentine. i.e. after 3 rounds of drafting 12-1, 12-1, 12-1, we would go 1-12, 12-1, 1-12, 12-1.

As you make your picks, please say yes, no, or OK to additional rounds. OK means you are OK either way. If no, we will do the rest through the AD and waivers as originally planned.

To me it should be surpentine starting now . Why would one manager aways get the 1st pick in each round ? That isn't right . If you keep it at 3 more rounds then it should go 12-1--1-12-12-1. 12th pick would still get an advantage .

The reason for setting it up this way was that 1-12 was for a team vs individual players. If you go straight serpentine as you are suggeting, 1 has a huge advantage over 12. This evens things up a bit. I've seen a number of leagues do it this way with a 1 team plus players draft, I think it is teh fairest way. Beyond 3 round though, I think would only be fair to go serpentine. I think it is generally thought that 3 rounds make it fair.
