About the head-to-head tie-breaker; what happens if there are three or more teams tied for the last spot? Does it move to run differential? What is run differential?

Good question, RS, since we have [i:c698ee79d5]5 teams[/i:c698ee79d5] tied for the 8th spot!

Burke, Winfield, Sheets, and Kingman are the only players I have left from the start of the season. It got me wondering how many original players are usually left on an 80s team. In the last round I eneded up with eight players for the whole season.

Certainly not clear. Head to head first and if there is still a tie, then run differential overall (not just in games between the tied teams - if they both one the same amount of games, who cares if one won 2-1 and the other 3-1?). I think runs vs. runs against for the year is a borderline accurate reflection on the strength of the team.

So in the case of a tie with more than two teams we use crossingroads method of adding up all the games played against the other tied teams and the team or teams with the best winning pct. (if we ended now sog's team will not have as many games played for the tie breaker as the other 4 teams) move on unless there is a tie. in winning pct.

The way my team has played and been managed, I'm pretty sure I'd shoot myself in the foot about 15 minutes before dawn.

All right, back in the saddle for the stretch drive. No way I want to be on the sidelines yet.... so... Wilson moves up to the #2 slot in the line-up. Barrett drops to dead last. Should have done this earlier, but I've been away, ya know. Like the Marine said, building golf courses in the desert. Raines leading the league in intentional walks kind of clued me in Barrett should not be where he is, hopefully that will allow me to score a few more runs, pythagorean theory says I should be right at .500 with my runs scored for and against, so maybe Wilson in number 2 hole will do the trick, although I'm even more tempted to lead him off and bat Raines second, let's see who has more of a tendency to hit into double plays.

For that posting, I'm sure you're going to get a Air Force Commendation Medal or something better.

:D

I've got to get back to winning the good fight with my friends in the Air Force!
