I am in! Sorry for the hold ups. The tech guys at work have straightened out my home comp. finally. I couldn't access the boards.

Awesome - hope I get PHELPS (he's so overrated he's underrated or something like that).

Well, we are about to finish the first season of the Beer and Peanuts league.

The East (my team included) hasn't exactly played up to par along with the other divisions, but with a 3 game lead with 3 games left to play, I'm not complaining even though my team is still under .500 (although I still think my team is better than its record). The Son of a Guns do have a chance, as they are 3 games behind and are at home tonight for the last series against my team. Son of a Guns needs to sweep my team in order to cause a tie for first (not sure what the tie breaker is).

In the Central, there is a same situation except with better teams. bjs and Outta Leftfield are vying for 1st, but bjs has the comfortable 3 game lead. Outta Leftfield still has a shot for the wild card, but is 2 games behind T. Rich (who plays Jablowmis' team tonight).

In the West, the Southwest Conquistadores are the only ones that have clinched a playoff spot and the best record in the league.

Good luck to all those vying for a playoff spot and those that do make the playoffs (hopefully including my own team). For those of you who don't have a chance or don't make it, we'll see you in the Beer and Peanuts League #2. :)

Hey Mav,

Thanks for organizing this thing. It's been fun.

The first tie-breaker is head-to-head. Count up your record against the Guns. Losing all three could still put you in the playoffs.

Good luck!

Sorry, I know the tie breaker is head to head, I'm just to lazy to add it up. Usually in my experience, a 3 game lead is pretty safe, at least not enough to inspire me to count up the head to head results.

Mav,

You've got me on this one -- head to head you're 13-8.

Congratulations !!

Sean
