How many platoons?

Modmark - I have limited experience in ATG, esp. in a $100 million league. All the teams look good, and I feel like I'm scrambling to get it together. Any thoughts on how the league looks or shakes out?

He got the injury bug this time. :(

Man if there's a team of mine without Burns on it, I feel paralyzed...

Platoon him tons with Cash in a hitters' park, with Cooper in a pitchers' park, with Strawberry, Oliva, White, etc.

There's so many heavily slanted LH bats in RF and 1B and Burns is so cheap and GOOD at what he does (hit him leadoff or #2) that I feel he's one of the key players to have.

Many disagree, but check out his perfomance on just about any of my teams...

Hey PBTR, can you post a couple of his "typical" performances??

Yeah, Burns was a consideration, but I picked up Lansford because he can play 3B as well.

7smitty7 - It will be a tough division, and a tough league. At $100m, everyone can afford to put together very strong teams. The fact that a third of the league is in lefty leaning ballparks (Yankee 56 and Dunn) will make for some interesting results. I am not good at predicting. But, the people above have given you good advice, and I see you have acted on some of it. I do know that having a decent pen can be key in a $100m league, or at least having one good stopper. I don't see a weak team in the league, and I see several that look like champs on paper. I just hope my guys can be competitive with all the stud teams around! :)

Collins to Cash? You've made your team worse. The majority of your money should be in starting players... you've got way too much wrapped up in bench and backup.

Selkirk was dropped and I picked him up for Dykstra. Not really sure what to do here, but he was too tempting. Can I win with Selkirk in CF, or should I drop Oliva or Ennis and pick Dykstra back up? I could potentially have an OF of Ennis in RF, Selkirk in CF, and Evans in LF against LHP. That's feels scary even writing it.
