Thanks to those of you that made suggestions about my Bank One lineup. Here is the changed lineup:

Mauer c
Iguchi 2b
D. Lee 1b
Ortiz dh
Sheffield rf
Floyd lf
Glaus 3b
Beltran cf
Everrett ss

I play in a division with Petco, Kaufmann and US Cell.

Is this a winning lineup? I start my season tonight.

Beltran has 14 DP chances vs. RH's whereas Iguchi has 20 so I'd bat Beltran 2nd.

Ortiz with the + clutch is always nice in the 5 hole.

Problem is you start losing the L-R-L etc... in your lineup.

they might walk Ortiz to get to Sheff against righties...and Ig doesn't need to be so high up...

I'd go

Mauer
Sheffield
Ortiz
Lee
Glaus
Floyd
Ig
Beltran
Everett

Sheffield protects Mauer. Ortiz protects Sheff. Lee protects Ortiz. Glaus protects Lee. Sheff has some speed so they'll have to hold, opening up a +hole for Ortiz. Beltran and Everett are a nice "second leadoff" crew at the end of the order...

Might switch Beltran to 9th...can't remember how he hits LH...might be nice to have someone to discourage a LH pitcher with Mauer up next...
