2006 LOTO Tournament Round I League B

I'm sure LMBombers is glad to see me go ... probably seems like I beat his squad every time we match up this season. Actually though, while I've won 3 of the 4 series, he swept me once so we finish at 6-6.

Team continues to play well ... but losing Freel for a couple of series could definitely be a factor.

Or maybe not. :)

Last night was the last series against a team outside my division, so we're now in the stretch run, with charliewb & I tied for 1st, with a 5 game lead on rob for the WC.

AT---

PLEASE stop replying to this thread.....

Everytime I see a post I am reminded how poorly my 2006 teams are!

I always 'thought' I could hang with the 'big boys', but obviously I can't!

(actually, good luck down the stretch guys, it looks like a good race from down here in the cellar!)

There will probably be a LOTO...

Consolation League for ANY of the players who do not make the 2nd round if anyone stlii wants to play with the guys in this group. Same great competition, just not for an opportunity to be LOTO Champion 06'.

Since AT and Charlie caught fire, I have fallen 5 games behind the WC Spot - due mostly to an inability to beat Western Conference teams.

I am hoping I can do well enuf in my Division and Charlie and AT will balance out or 1 will dominate the other allowing me a chance to sneak into the last playoff spot.

ET is sure coming on strong the past couple of weeks.

GL fellas'...R

I could play all the rest of my games on the road...I have never been swept this much at home in ANY previous league I have played in.

Team continues to play well - only a couple more nights and a spot in the next round should be secured. :)

i try not to be superstitious ... but when your team starts a long winning streak it is hard not to hold your breath ... guess we'll see soon enough if this post jinxed my team. ;)

Alphonso is pressing hard to catch the 6th spot ... can he make it with 12 games to go and a 3 game deficit?

Well kudos to dr. tax on breaking my streak. I had been hoping to win out the season (and finish with 18 straight series wins), but it was not meant to be.
