Max pitching

Has anyone here ever carried 12 pitchers all year long? If so, how did that work? I ask b/c I've thought about drafting a deep staff and letting HAL root through them to find the goodies. Seems like more arms would help overall, and there enough cheap pitchers to keep the cost under control.
