My team has had numerous ups and downs. Just when I'm frustrated, they'll put up a sweep like last night, which I mentioned we only allowed 7 runs the whole series.

I need some consistency. BTW, we're still not[i:5132ce7316] too [/i:5132ce7316]giddy about this. :wink:

Dropped a game in the Standings last night, can't afford to do that, but as I mentioned already this team has no consistency.

Meanwhile, Jerry's team (aka Fatty I think) doesn't even have to play 500 ball to win the magical 100 games, 10-11 will do it. So, how many will his squad win? 102, 103 maybe?

Exactly 1 week to go. Last day for Roster Moves, of course.

When someone in the East sweeps, as Hawk did last night, they really make a move in the standings, as Hawk was propelled into 2nd place just 1 game out now. I lose 2 of 3 and gain a game. Oh, the mediocrity. :shock:

After a recent series in which I allowed but 7 runs, I only score 8 runs last night. Seems like there's more hitting lapses toward the end of the season here.

it was very nice getting Loe back from his 15 game injury.It is definitely interesting to me how certain players have stopped hitting over the last 1/3 season.Hell Young was hitting well over 400 and then we hit the 2/3 mark and his average has plummeted to under 390.

No late push for my squad, especially without Clark and his 67 HR's and 170+ RBI's. Four back with 9 to go, all on the road, and another team besides Geekor in front of me, too.

Got to hand it to [b:6195b464c1]Geekor[/b:6195b464c1]. It seems like everytime I look at his lead it's 2 games. But, he's held this the whole way, as far as I know never relinquishing the lead. That's hard to do, stay 2 games in front, for this long...but he's done it.

Meanwhile, the [b:6195b464c1]Central[/b:6195b464c1] has 3 teams within 2 games of each other! Wow!

The West remains boring with the [b:6195b464c1]Jerry and Terry [/b:6195b464c1]duo. Does that not sound like new Country Act, or what? :wink:

I've had this sneaking feeling over the last few weeks, when I couldn't build any sort of lead, that I am just going to lose the division on the very last night :cry:

Not that the last time I did this theme (03 or 05 I forget) I had the best record in the league going into the last week, and proceded to die a horrible death, missing the division AND WC by 1 games :x
