I'd have to go with Giovanni Carrara for a pitcher and Alex Cintron for a hitter.

I agree with Madson. Also like Eric Bruntlett, good utility player and can even platoon him against lefties.

At the half-way point in a league that I'm in, Marcus Thames is 4th. in the league in homeruns...

I like Gomez, Todd Greene (vs. LH's in a hitting park), Renteria, Cintron, Feliz, Ward, Hollins and Byrnes to name a few hitters.

Pitching wise:
SP- In the right situation mind you...Lawrence, Meche, Padilla and Trachsel
RP- Carrara, Rodney, Sanchez, Munter, Putz, Flores to name a few.

ditto on Thames. Like all specialists, he's only good under the right circumstances, but when those circumstances exist (playing in an HR park with lot's of HR parks in your league), he's worth many times his $.58.

Wow. I just looked up Thames crap OB/TB numbers in the ratings book. Don't forget the * for BP singles vs-RHPs.

His card is scientific/mathematical proof of the power of the 8 BPHRs in hitters' parks. Of course, the effect in the right environment for this guy is that his BA/OBP/SLG all climb from the balls leaving the yard.

In real life, this guy got 21 hits, 7 of which were big flies.
