Poison Pill League - Is FULL - Let The Games Begin

I am looking to start a league just for new owners (an owner that has had played in less than 4 seasons). Sorry to all the vets around here, but for those of us who have never played the only version of Strat-o-Matic and do not want to be like the Royals or Pirates I have decided to start a league for us new people. The rules are simple, the same rules for Strat-o-Matic apply, try to draft anyone you want, use either a 4 or 5 man rotation, etc...the only 2 specific rules are this is a DH-only league and only one team can use a particualr ballpark. Hopefully, there are enough of us new players that it won't take long to fill the league up and and 48 hours after we have a full league we will run an autodraft. Then 5 days after the autodraft, the league will begin its regular season games.

If anyone has questions, or suggestions please let me know. I am however, just looking to great a starter league for people to be able to learn how to play and get a ccustomed to the online game and still have a fighting chance at winning.

When you list your name please included what ballpark you want (they will be on a first-come first-serve basis). Also please only copy and past the following section with each subsequent e-mail so we can readily see who is in the league (and you can choose which division you'd like to be in - and it doesn't have to be according to where your ballpark is)

please advised that if I don't have a full league of people who have played less than 4 seasons, I will expand that to less than 8 seasons (what can I say going by 5 is so mundane). Unless of course those already in the league object. Bottom line is I am looking to have a league of people relatively new to the game so hopefully to create a more levvel playing field. But I also don't want to wait 2-3 weeks to fill this league.

Well folks, I have gotten a lot of views but only a couple of people willing to join. So at this point (i.e. 11:30pm EST, Sunday, October 16th), I am now expanding this league to be open to anyone who has played in less than 8 seasons.

If any of the people who have responded to this post requesting a spot in the league objects, please let me know. Again I am only doing this to hopefully start a league relatively quickly and still have somewhat new onlne Strat-O-Matic team owners.

I am new, this will be my second league. I see that you are looking for new people to join the league and draft different ball parks. I had already drafted a team and Yankee Stadium as my park and signed up for a Auto draft league which has had four teams for the last couple of day's. Can I join your league and keep Yankee Stadium.
