If the title didn't clue anyone off that [b:0d422a4e2b]I know the subject is a dead story[/b:0d422a4e2b], maybe this clarification will drive people to recognize a [u:0d422a4e2b]little smack before the third round is a good thing[/u:0d422a4e2b]. :D
[b:0d422a4e2b]I concluded my entry with[/b:0d422a4e2b]:
[quote:0d422a4e2b]If I had a middle rating versus near the bottom, I'd be very interested in setting the table up so I could play a team like mine.
OF COURSE, I don't expect anyone to change the rules but you can't fault my ownership group for trying to turn-up the competition off the field too.[/quote:0d422a4e2b]
Heck, I can't turn on the A/C when you hit the ball to the OF or water the base paths if you are a running team .... a guy has to play a little in the head to get the game going.
And, yet many missed my tongue-in-cheek smack -
Geez ... I never looked at who had what rating in the tour besides the lineal ranking provided by Jablowmi (I'm near deadlast too).
I'm not above running a little smack but I'm not about to call someone out on their playing record - that is poor form. :x
Frankly, I just wanted to stir the pot a little here (not a serious attempt to mess with any owners' ratings or success record).
However, I'm challenged to locate where I advocated using the bracket scheme based on the rounds' records to date.

[quote:0d422a4e2b]Since TSN's manager rating is weighted towards the number of teams played (lowest # played in the Top 25 - 13 games with most above 22 games) -it would seem fair in these rounds to consider using a lottery system to bracket the teams.
Given we've played two rounds now and by game design should have eliminated the lower seed teams, the remaining rounds brackets should be based on an equal footing.[/quote:0d422a4e2b]
