First glance.

No reason to carry 3 catchers. Keep Posado and get a cheap back up.

I prefer Soriano at DH over Thomas. Others might disagree. Right now you're wasting his salary. $2.71 as a backup isn't using your salary wisely.

Duffy, Castillo, Posado & Singleton give you enough lefties. I'd drop Overbay and get a righty with pop. You've got 1-16 for BPHR for righties - use it. Or if there is a strong righty RF then go that way.

I'm not a proponent for dropping players in season but I think you need more offense.

why not use soriano vs righties and thomas vs lefties agree with dropping overbay you need a big righty bat for mm

However, the point about Thomas/Soriano I must disagree with. If Thomas did not have the injury risk his salary would be through the roof. He will inflict MAJOR damage at minute maid...I've seen it.....and soriano is the PERFECT backup for him. I think if you see their numbers at the end of the season, you'l agree that it's well worth the 5-6 mil in salary. I just don't want to get caught without Thomas for a long periods without a solid R HR threat at MM.

I can see your point but I would still dump Thomas, Overbay & catcher and get the biggest RH bat you can find. Hopefully 1B or RF where your are weaker. I personally like Tejeda for your park.

Just a word of caution although I have seen Tejada do well I had him in minutemaid and he was absolutley terrible really wrecked my whole team he hit .245 .282 .381 in 96 games with 9 hrs I finally cut him for suzuki and my team took off
