Could someone please approve a drop of Powell? I must not have set my proxy to drop him after I got Durham in my previous pick.

Drop approved, Rube.

Simon - You have McEnaney listed to be dropped in the POST draft, not the PRE.

Do you still want the drop approved?

::::BUMP:::: Man, we have one of the longest drafts!!
Perhaps more of the guys can key in some Proxies so the system will work on its own more. I'm hoping we can load our teams by Thursday.

Sorry guys. I have very limited access on this trip and I've had problems with my laptop, but I've loaded some more proxies so I won't slow things down much...I hope! :(

simon... i don't think it's any one person, each of us at some point has been delayed, traveling, away w/o proxies, etc. and several have commented that they are close to overload with new team management, so I for one have utilized the slower draft to figure out what I'm doing!!!

I don't know about anyone else, but I think NOT HAVING the player pool limited on penn's site has made proxies more difficult. I use proxies a lot in other drafts... but in trying to set proxies, it's hard to even assess which positions are thin in remaining players because we keep "seeing" the whole player pool. If for instance we were drafting pre-61 and all we saw were pre-61, we could look for SS's and see quickly there are only 2-3 decent defense SS's available, and all were under 2M... but now we see all the Younts, Ripkens, Ozzies, and so on down. While we can still eventually get to the info we seek, it bogs it down and just clouds the picture enough to make proxies in this draft more pain than of benefit.

Just my 2 cents... wonder if we could bribe penn to incorporate the pre/post, nl/al splits of player pools?... Just kidding... I think we're all just happy he was nice enough to spend the time do what he did to get us up on atg-3 at all! don't think we should push it

:Bump: We're getting close. How is the Pre '61 draft coming along? I think I'm the only person here who isn't in that draft.

Albeit slowly.

Ya know, I was toying with adding a draft feature to diamonddope when it looked as if penn would stop supporting his site. I might still do that.
