Ugly fielding is going to be a problem for everybody. When you are dealing with the lower priced players you aren't going to find too many gloves that can actually hit. Conversely the players that can hit a little bit have no glove. This is why they are priced the way they are.

The way my team is currently configured here is my starting defenses:

vs RHP
1B-4
2B-3
SS-2
3B-4
LF-3
CF-2
RF-3

vs LHP
1B-4
2B-3
SS-3
3B-2
LF-3
CF-2
RF-4

I'm not bad on "D"

I have no one worse than a 3 range and FOUR "2's" in the RH LU, THREE "2's" in the LH LU.

I'm pretty lucky defensively ... but my offense probably won't scare any pitchers. ;)

R/L

1B - 2/2
2B - 2/2
3B - 1/1
SS - 2/2
LF - 3/3
CF - 2/2
RF - 2/4
C - 4/3

What player do you think will lead the league in HRs and how many will he have?

I'll say Soriano with 28 :)

On 2nd thought it might be a LH hitter due to the parks favor Lefties by a little bit. I'll say Burnitz if it's a LH hitter.

Looks like Soriano will make 40-40 in real life, with an outside shot at 50-40. And, all this in a fairly pitcher friendly home park, and a Division in which the only htter's park is Philly. Awesome year for him, and his walk year to boot.

all in all I think this is a terrific premise for a league only minor complaint I have is with the ballparks petco and jacobs are no brainers but would of liked a pitcher friendly park that tilts rh like busch or sbc to balance out the two lefty parks

of course I am probably saying that now because I have an all righty staff plus fasano
