Only 2 more nights to go! Will all teams score at least 1000 runs? Will any teams avoid allowing 1000 runs?

All divisions have now been decided, and Stoney & djl3737 are fighting it out for the WC.

Looks like 1 team may fail to score 1000 runs, and vince0501's squad has a chance at being the only team to allow less than 1000 runs scored.

[b:74f9cd23a4]Team Awards:[/b:74f9cd23a4]

MVP - Brian Giles

This was a tough decision. Was very tempted to give to either Bay or Guerrero, but after seeing Giles RC/27 i went with him.

CY Young - Ryan Dempster

Although he wasn't a Starter, he still led the team in IP & K's, and tied for Wins with 11. Only lost 3 games and blew 1 save despite being in 94 games.

Rolaids Relief - Ryan Dempster

Beat out Joe Nathan due to Nathans 9 losses and 14 Blown Saves.

Surprise Performance - Mark Ellis

Considering his potential for 15 game injuries, I definitely was not expecting him to play every game of the season, nor score 137 runs and be 2 shy of 100 RBI.

Disappointing Performance - Gonzalez / Majewski

Majewski's 10 Blown Saves & Gonzalez's horrid WHIP were probable reasons why my team just missed out on the playoffs (by 4 wins). Maybe I needed another reliever, but I was pretty confident at the start of season in the 5 I had, and the other 3 all performed to expectation (although Nathans 14 Blown Saves was also disappointing).

MWP - Big Papi. 79 Hr's 183 RBI .738 SLG

Cy Young - Leither with a 14-7 record. Led the team in wins.

Rolaids Relief - Tejeda/Wuertz. Kept us in most games.

I changed settings about a dozen times and still couldn't get some of my better RP's in the game instead of Vogelsong. Too many innings from him.

Surprise Performances - Team - 5 players with 50+ HR's. League leading ERA.

Most Disappointing - None. All starters hit 600 AB's. Maybe Francouer. Only hit .282 with a .456 Slg. Not much to complain about there.
