Screw this pitching and defense concept, that has me playing .333 ball now and fourth from the bottom of the entire 69 manager ratings!!!

I thought these SPs were good values even though they have a couple of #s, and I'm hoping I can massage a decent performance out of my nickle pen...

Plenty of offense though. Here's the lineups:

vs. RHP

1. Andrews, Mike (R) 2B
2. Jones, Mack (L) LF
3. Aaron, Hank (R) RF
4. Petrocelli, Rico (R) SS
5. Bando, Sal (R) 3B
6. Stargell, Willie (L) 1B
7. Bench, Johnny (R) C
8. Bradford, Buddy (R) CF
9. Pitcher P

vs. LHP

1. Lock, Don (R) LF
2. Andrews, Mike (R) 2B
3. Aaron, Hank (R) RF
4. Petrocelli, Rico (R) SS
5. Bando, Sal (R) 3B
6. Bench, Johnny (R) C
7. Stargell, Willie (L) or Beauchamp, Jim (R) 1B
8. Bradford, Buddy (R) CF
9. Pitcher P

Any comments or suggestions? First time in Sicks park.

I think Catfish is gonna struggle at Sicks.

Man what a lineup! You are going to light up the scoreboard. I am platooning Clenndenon with Stargell at 1B on my team. I don't know if he is available or if you can afford him. If not I probably would just use Stargell vs LHP as your guys are going to knock out the opposing SP right away and they might put in a RHP.

I think you need a better lead-off hitter vs. LH's or have Andrews do it.

Peters will start most of the time. I could have had Dobson instead of Cat but I figured it'd be better to have a hard righty.

I don't like Andrews leadoff because most of his OB vs. LH is from hits. Lock is all walks, and with the #s in a hitters' park isn't a bad platoon.
