Cepeda, Campy and LANCE all go in the seventh round that is what is so amazing. O and Campy usually were second and third rounders.

We need a moment of silence for the terrorist bomb that went off last nite in FENWAY PARK. Red Sox fan were seen jumping off of buildings head first, screaming PAPPPPPPPPPIIIIIIII, JEEEEEETTTTTTERRRRRRR, and one fan was screaming TTHHHHEEEEEOOOOOOO as he jumped off of the green monster onto the street below.

Twenty five terrorists in gray baseball suits came into town early Friday morning and went about their business, assembling their arsenal of death.

As one who grew up in Beantown, this is a story that has been played out a million times over the years with one glorious and notable exception. After the Yankees achieve the five-game sweep, a series which will live in infamy, the Red Sox can begin looking to next year. At least Bucky Dent was just one lucky swing.

Changing speeds: he couldn't manage and he costs one million more bucks than he did in ATG II, but it's tough turn down A. Trammell's .380 OBP, 1e14 SS and max 3-game injury risk in Round 7.

C'mon Tigers, beat those White Sox! And Gary Carter in the 7th round?? It is starnge with the wealth of talent how some great guys have dropped, I just got screwed with the Waner, Cooper and Alou picks, so I had to jump on Carter. :D

Only a 5 1/2 game lead over the Sox and I think 6 1/2 over the Twins. Looks like it's going to be an interesting month of September! 8)

I almost took Carter when I made the E. Howard pick. I balanced Carters durability vs Howards better OBP vs both sides; decided to go with the new guy. It IS strange to see Carter slide to the 7th round. Times have changed.

As for the Red Sox....I am trying not to think about these last 5 games. Otherwise, I will be in serious need of anti-depressants. My mantra all weekend has been, "it's only a game, it's only a game..."

Hey, we won our first playoff game tonight, 5-1. :) Made my first start in the OF in four years. Was nervous, but made all 5 of my putouts in RCF. It was kind of fun, being way out there, instead of the pressure of trying to make every pitch a perfect one from the mound. So now, we play the #1 team in our division Tuesday night at 6pm. They are the NY Yankees of our league. We are 0-3 vs them this year. IF we somehow prevail, that would have me playing Friday night at 6pm. If that happens, my son will stand in for me here until I get home. If we lose (the more likely scenario), then I would play again on Thursday at 6pm. Just another FYI.

Congrats on your playoff win.
I wish you had taken Carter because I wanted Howard.
