Ok. We have BIG ISSUES NOW.

My trade with Hak was supposed to be Palmer/Hunter for Bosman/Cash. Cash was to be his pick as he was up.

Now Cash is on CaTom's squad, I have Kirkpatrick and May.

I have meetings all morning so I am off and on until noon. Somebody please chime in here and help when you can. Thanks.

things got screwed up because the draft site wouldn't allow me to draft Cash because, without making the trade, I would not have been able to draft 25 guys within the salary cap if I had (I don't remember this being a feature of Penn's site before).

So, I accpeted the trade that Sykes had posted, and most likely before he could see what was going on, the trade was approved and if Sykes had proxies, they must have kicked in when they weren't wanted.

Is there anyway we can back this thing up, because there was a clear and stated attempt for Cash to be picked with that 99th selection, but for a quirk in the drafting program.

maybe someone with admin rights could pause the draft until we get this figured out.

As Hak said, when I approved the trade it was stated on Penns site as:

Hunter/Palmer for Bosman/pick #99 (active pick on the clock xfer to Sykes)

Apparently the trade was approved and Sykes pre-trade proxies kicked in.

I personally have no problem with rollback but think Riggo should advise best course of action.

In theory, a Cash for Kirkpatrick trade would leave me pretty much where I expected to be as I did have Kirkpatrick listed before May on my proxy list. If you are fine with the CATom, feel free to accept the trade on Penn's site. I will offer it up now.

If a Cash/Kirkpatrick trade is agreed to by CaTom/Sykes, the draft can then continue. In this case, thanks to CaTom for being so accomodating! Otherwise, as mentioned above, I'm going to ask Riggo to weigh in on this.

I will be unavailable until late this evening so will ask others with admin rights to approve the trade (if agreed to) and unpause the draft.

In my view, the main point here is that the trade privately agreed to by Hak/Sykes (Palmer/Hunter for Bosman/Cash) was NOT the exact trade proposed and accepted on Penns site (Palmer/Hunter for Bosman/pick #99). Once this trade was proposed, accepted, and approved, the pick became Sykes pick and at that point Hak's inability to draft Cash was rendered moot (as I understand the draft procedure there). Hak's inability to draft Cash may have been unexpected but did NOT directly affect the terms of the trade as expressed on Penns site, since Cash is not mentioned in that trade (again, my relatively inexperienced opinion only).

will the paused draft prohibit Catom and Sykes from making a trade?
orcan you make trades while the draft is paused.

Rolling back the draft is a big problem since it requires owners to re-set their carefully planned proxies.

If Sykes / Hak / CATom have a solution they agree on that will save everyone a lot of trouble. I'm going to check the site, see that the deals get approved and get this thing rolling again.
