Sykes is over 22million behind the next owner, and an outstanding 89 million behind the leading spender. It is almost as if everyone one else had at least one extra draft pick, or in the case of dacelo 2-3 picks. ;)

It will be interesting to see if Sykes strategy will pay off ... and if he will be mentally unbalanced by the fact that (one of) his favourite BTT80s stadiums is going to be unused (Jack Murphy) and of course all the chants of "Scrooge" or "Cheapskate" or "Yawkey" or "Bidwell" his team will hear on road games.

I have no fear that I will compete well. Combined salary is not a 100% indicator as some teams have more players too. Hell, $28m is tied up in 2 guys form the 27 Yanks. :wink:

I get to play injury free ball at many key positions regardless of the salary cap each year. That will allow me to bolster bullpen when needed.

Looking forward to tearing up this thing and showing folks what the Hoboken Kybrids are made of. :P

I had 3 H's, 4P's when the 50 Phils were taken ahead of me.. I did very much consider taking a 5th pitching team... but I already had like 12-14 usable starters and 4 RP's, so I feared overkill... but it WAS CLOSE.
