League 1 has 4 teams entered. League 2 has 7. Waiting on Mr. Leo to finish off the central division in League 2.

League 1 is ready for TRich, Modmark, Toisan and Coffeeholic to enter their teams in the central division.

League 2

Postby LMBombers » Tue Oct 18, 2005 5:55 am

The east and central divisions are complete in League 2. Sykes, Hakmusic, Steve Ames and Jamie need to load into the west division. [b:3b8b83ff02]the password is homerun[/b:3b8b83ff02] That is one word and lower case.

My team is entered in the WEST. And I doubt this team will score more than 400 runs all year

That is less than 2.5 runs per game average. I bet you'll do better than that. Some of your lineup may not be all that great but remember that some of the pitchers you will face are not all that great either.

I think injuries will be a big part of a team's success in this league. We may have adequate to moderately good players in our lineups but when one of them goes down our backups are pathetic. 15 game injuries to one of our starting players is really going to hurt bad. When we have two or more players injured at the same time that could spell doom for those games.

Well here is the line up :
C-Hiatt or Mitterwald - OK
1B- W. Parker - good but no slugger
2B- B. Knoop -please!
3B- D. Johnson uh oh!
SS- Lanier - kidding right !
LF- A. Bravo - Oh my God !
CF- K. Berry - noooooooooo
RF- J. Callisson - the true 'slugger?
DH- F. Stanley - the manager is reaching for his pistol now !

If the starting pitching which is excellent, does not hold up, I am going to be buried !

C - Don Pavleitch/Ellie Hendricks (pretty happy except Pavletich +2)
1B - Frank Howard/Art Shamsky (great hitting, no D)
2B - Dave Cash (decent hitting no D)
SS - Woody Woodward (ouch)
3B - Tito Fuentes (hopefully has more hits than errors allowed)
LF - Ken Henderson/Bob Oliver (so so at best)
CF - Rick Monday (good hitting, e15)
RF - Don Lock/Dave May (decent fielding, no hit)
DH - Jose Herrera/Frank Howard (Howard and who???)

My OF defense is actually not that bad (all 2's except Oliver is a 3). My infield defense?.......Let's just say their gloves are made of brick.

C - Freehan
1b - Boog
2b - Alcaraz - 3e10
3b - Foy
ss - Popovich -at least he's a 3e21 could be worse
lf - Felipe Alou
rf - Walt Williams
cf - Davaillo
dh - Carty

SP - Peterson, Sutton, Coleman, Barbender
RP - Taylor, Aker, Ross, Siebert, Pizzaro, Buchart

Two strong starters two okay. Pen is questionable. Not great range in the middle infield but at least decent e numbers.
