Anyone surprised at how low-scoring most of the games were last night?

Defense IS overrrated...

Besides, a 3 isn't too bad on defense.

My LOTO team won 96 games with a 3 at 2B ... but then again we had A-Rod at SS and are about to be swept out of the semi-finals. :(

I think that while runs will be above those in a normal autodraft, that they may be less than expected by some of us, simply because there are a lot of pitchers parks, or parks that only favour LH or RH hitters. There is only 3 true slugging parks (Citizens Bank, Great American & US Cellular) and no parks that are good for bp singles AND hr like Coors or Ameriquest, save Jeep's Citizen Bank.

I know LH hitters will struggle when they visit me, and my team will likely struggle half the time on the road in parks like the 3 PNC we have.

Another factor to consider is that no one is paying a premium for 1 and 2 rated defenders. That money on saved on hitters gets put into extra pitching. I know that I am definetly carrying more pitching, particularly relievers, than I normally would.

I spent no more or no less on Pitching than in a "Normal" League. Probably mainly due to the fact I play in Citizen's Bank and I needed a few of the high-priced sluggers.

BUT, with Visick taking out Howard and Arryl taking out Hafner, that's two of the high-priced sluggers not in the L/U... :(

I have won 2 of my 9 games with 10+ runs scored, and have yet to allow 10 runs in a game. But I am losing the close low scoring games like 3-1, 3-2 or 6-3 (6-3 is a low scoring game in this league eh? ;)).

Wang's stats: 67.16 ERA and 7.46 WHIP...now that's pretty dog gone cruddy
