I just thought it was kind of funny that both HBP in the 1st inning of Game III happened right after a HR ... made me wonder if HAL had a 'retaliate for HR' code programmed in. ;)

Despite all the injuries I almost won two last night, and really could have won three had not K. Rogers gotten injured for the second game in a row, to the 2nd batter of the game. Because of that Eaton had to come in and pitch the last three innings of the game giving up the 4 runs that cost me the game. The other loss was in extras.

Trying to stay afloat here, but it's hard as yet [b:8e4b116f2b]another[/b:8e4b116f2b] body goes down, a main player in Delgado and for 10 games. So I have 3 guys out with 15/15/10 game injuries and still don't get Dye back until Game 2 tonight.

I blame this all on [b:8e4b116f2b]Arryl Tremaine[/b:8e4b116f2b]. He's the one who brought up the injury thing before the season started. :x

Kev is too embarrased to make comments about his team and has resigned before the real onslaught begins. Kev will leave the operations of this team to his wife's two cats (Ice and Jett). Ice will make moves and other GM decisions while Jett will manage the lineups and strategy the rest of the season. Kev will concentrate on his other teams who actually have a chance to be competitive.

...what Kev didn't say (or should I say "spokecats") was that they were some negotiations here at my house discussing a possible trade of Jett for our cat Precious. The offer was Jett, a player not to be named here, and cash for Preciuos. 1) I felt that wasn't enough for Precious, and 2) Precious has done such a good job of Managing during this injury spurt of mine.

I'm sure Kev didn't want to mention this, as Jett and even Ice too might be a little miffed that one of their names was being banded about in negotiations.

That doesn't surprise me. My cats looked at my FRKL team and now they want to jump ship. It's getting ugly!! If precious wants to be Coach, General Manager, and Owner, this would be a great opportunity! :cry: :cry:

Cummings2 came to town, and it must have been like playing at home (since he also uses SAFECO) as his team certainly played as if they were at home, and my team played as if they were a double a team that had just gotten off a 48 hour bus ride. :( :x :(
