Top 5? Raines, Winfield, Murray, someone and then Reuss, I think!

I've got Raines and Murray up there in the order - I forget exactly in what order...trying for both Ryan and El Sid very late in the order, see what happens. Hoping for Oberkfell, Eric Davis and Porter too...my first try at a weighted waivers draft.

I was in Busch and Dodger so far, Shea this time around.

VAMPIRE BATS - will they suck?

I'm Sempers bench coach...

The skipper drafted stud hitters and cheap pitchers. I hope I don't drop a guy during waivers that Semper actually drafted. :D

Bombs Away in the Central

Postby Jablowmi » Fri Aug 25, 2006 7:25 am

Two Kingdomes, a Wrigley and a Murph.

And, of course, I lost a lot of my power in the auto. $19M to spend! I did get very lucky snagging Gwynn for Winfield (my 2nd) and Lynn for EDavis (he was my 3rd, not Murray). May be looking to move Gwynn or Raines. When I saw that #1 waiver slot, I started praying for a Yount or Guerrero choice, but I guess I can't complain about Cal.

Good luck.

Pitching In The East

Postby hechojazz » Fri Aug 25, 2006 7:46 am

I'm in Shea, and two of the other three teams in the East are in Royals! We do have Fulton County also, to provide an occasional homerun...

I guess I won't be able to get Cal. I'll still put in for him anyway just in case there's a glitch or something.

I can't believe I got either my top 3 or 3 of my top 4 and still got #2 in waivers. Maybe it's because I still only got 10 guys I wanted.

I lost out on a number of guys, some highly ranked (Raines, Strawberry, Murray, El Sid)...can't figure out how I wound up with the #10 waiver position...hopefully an organist or a batboy will be left for me at that position!
