Boone is gone, and I've replaced him with Sundberg, whom wjanssen should be familiar with. ;)

Well, my season is slip-slidin away, just a whole bunch of inconsistency on my squad, and i crapped the bed being a little impatient with Murphy *CURSES* :-)

Hopin' for a turnaround --maybe a little of that Sixto magic will shine and Hargrove actually begins to hit--, is that too much to ask? i guess we'll see what happens.

Sundberg is not doing any better than Boone did, as hard as that is to do ... so I'm likely to be looking for a 3rd catcher soon. It is interesting how some positions get solved right away, or with the first move, but others never seem to work out no matter how many players you try ... hopefully that will not be the case with my catcher this season.

Got swept, and barely avoided getting shutout in all 3 games ... so the losses were not my pitchers fault ... and Sundberg has either of his 2 worst seasons, and by looking at the stat line I'd say more likely his worst ... so he is gone.

I won a series last night to partially rebound from the sweep, and Wynegar, my 3rd option at C has started off well ... hopefully we can continue to challenge in the East. :)

Well third time was the charm as Wynegars injury revealed his '83 card. :)

Hopefully he will stay healthy enough to make use of that card. ;)

Only a couple of more days before we reach the mid-way point and switch from a 10% cap hit to the standard 20%. Got a couple of possible cuts to mull over ... as I am sure several others do as well. :)

nice time for my team to hit the skids... I've lost 5 in a row and have gone 3-13 in the last sixteen games.. ugggh. Every one of my pitchers is showing their "true colors"... worsening ERA's and increasing WHIP's.. ouch.

Let's see... 10 pitchers, 25M, times 10% penalty is 2.5M...
