btw, I d like garabito as well for a leadoff hitter, but I usually platoon him with E Young as a leadoff DH combo ;)

OK, I dropped Encarnacion, added Lee
Dropped Mueller, added Cantu (I had been looking at that one anyway!)
Dropped graffinino, added Ellis :)
Don't know about Shelton yet, kind of like garabito as a lead off hitter vs righties
Can't swing Roberts, and a bit leary about that +2 arm :shock

Does it look any better now??

LOL,

I actually forgot you had Tejeda too.

I think you have enough RH pop now, Pujols, Tejeda and Cantu should be enough.

Though Lee and Anderson are both LF only, so I'm guessing Anderson now platoons with garabito, and Mondesi plays RF vs lefties?

I'd still rather have Young and is Kapler available for RF?

Dropped Anderson for Kaplar to platoon in RF
Mondesi is going to be my DH vs lefties....

Young was still there! So i dropped Mondesi, and will platoon Garabito/Young at DH leadoff RH/LH, and platoon Kaplar in RF with Rivera....

Better?? :)

Mike,

I like the Garabito/Young combo. Cheap OB tablesetters.
Obviously be prepared for Young to go down a bit.

I'm giving Young a shot in the Iron Glove league. He's hitting well and getting on, but heading into the 2nd. week play, he's already gone down for 15.

Well it's a matter of preference.

Young gives you a legit leadoff vs lefties, and can play multiple positions (albeit badly) in case of emergency. Kapler has better tb's vs lefties, but not quite the HR power. I always figure, if the guy is batting 7th or lower anyways, I don't care about obp, just hoping to get some cheap rbi's out of them. So I'd rather have the extra doubles then the walks Mond gives you. But that's just me :P

I see a bigger problem is your pitching probably won't hold up, but then there isn't anyway to improve that with what is in your FA list. Best thing you could do is keep hitting the trade market and try to improve through the season there.

Yes, draft went poorly there, and with 3 other MM teams, difficult to trade....will keep looking at it tho!

You could dump Myers and go much cheaper here to help out the bullpen Mike.

I'm thinking of guys like:

Wood
Cook
Bonderman (possibly...)
Tomko
Cabrera
Hell...even McClung could throw for ya.
Padilla

RP:
Hensley could be lights out for ya.
Possibly Chris Ray?
