I found it. I am in. We are full. Don't ask me who I put on my auto draft card because it was three or four days ago that I filled it out.

Bunbury,

Let me be the first to congratulate you on the 'Stros sweet redemption this evening....should be a good series with stud SP's on both sides... :D

And...just checked out the draft results which ran a few minutes ago here. You have ended up with my 10th round pick (Johnny Edwards) on your roster. I'm new to this procedure but I'm guessing this means you have to drop him and then I pick him him as an FA post-waivers. Anyone want to chime in here on the remedy please do so. :)

All I have to say is WHAT A MESS! I have NO NL Catchers and CRAP left over...and even picked 3 guys out of my top 4 waiver guys as catchers AND GOT NONE!!!
This is the travesty of a draft like this...oh well.....
Lots of work to do...maybe McCovey with what I am paying him can catch!

You still must have done better than I did.

I drafted the wrong Niekro.

Somebody drafted my Doug Rader pick too.

Outside of that, I will need to make a trade or two pre-waivers to make room for Phil.

If any players picked during the live draft end up on the wrong roster, offer a trade, so the players switch teams before waivers run.

RULING on the Joe Niekro / Phil Niekro situation...

Postby RiggoDrill » Thu Oct 20, 2005 8:24 am

Joe Niekro was drafted by [b:509a0a8958]He's Meat[/b:509a0a8958]. The [i:509a0a8958]Hoboken Nationals[/i:509a0a8958] must accept any trade offer for Joe Niekro sent by the [i:509a0a8958]WASHINGTON JHS Warriors[/i:509a0a8958] (He's Meat).

Phil Niekro is a free agent and may be claimed by any team.

That's not a perfect solution, but its the best I can come up with. The [i:509a0a8958]Hoboken Nationals[/i:509a0a8958] were able to get extra players onto roster by leaving Phil Niekro off. On the other hand, they lose rights to one of their live draft picks. I hope everyone can live with this...

[b:add063d58e]Doug Rader [/b:add063d58e]was taken by Sykes in the live draft. He is now on the [i:add063d58e]Collins Avenue Nationales[/i:add063d58e] roster. Rader should be traded back to the Hoboken Nationals...
