LM (& others...), I want to stick with this format.
First, a higher cap and a limit on pitcher salary would create big problems because there simply wouldn't be enough total player salary to fill all of the teams.
I'm not really trying to break the bank, as it were, on batter stats. Rather, I'd like to see what 1960's players look like playing in a 1990s environment where the ballparks were generally much smaller and more favorable for hitters. I actually hope some managers try pitcher-heavy strategies (I might try it myself :wink: ). I think it'll be interesting to see how the Marichal's and Gibson's fare when they have to pitch in bandbox parks against lineups that include a DH.
All that said, I like your suggestions. The more themes the better!!! :P Let's start another league. 8)
