The Beat goes on.
Three one run games tonight, we win only one (of course).
In game one, [b:92f9d5977a]UNBELIEVEABLE.[/b:92f9d5977a]   We have a 9-0 lead entering the 7th. Glavine gives up 4, but gets through the inning only to see Hal bring in Flores (the only guy available due to the two close games last night) He gives up a HR to Floyd in the 8th THEN gives up 6 in the 9th. Why Hal leaves him in, because now HE'S tired is a good question. We lose 10-9. I'm just laughing at this because it's just so far beyond the pale all season. <head shaking>
We actually win game 2 with a run in the 9th (yes, only 1, see below)
Game 3? Just another [b:92f9d5977a]Extra Inning[/b:92f9d5977a] loss with a blown save by Carrasco. Ho hum, just another day. :P This time it's only 3 runs in the top of the 9th all come with two outs and no one on. Then, of course, we get two on in the bottom of the 9th, with only one out, but we can't score.
Almost every night, it's the same old things. Amazing. I keep thinking I'm going to see something else, but.... Nope, same things over and over. Headed for 30 games under... :(
Jet
p.s. Teixeira finally hit his 20th HR in game 138. Heck, Shelton's got 22.
