2006 LOTO TOUR - ROUND 2 - LEAGUE B

2006 LOTO TOUR - ROUND 2 - LEAGUE B

Postby doctrcpa » Fri Sep 08, 2006 7:33 am

We draft tonight and now we have our own discussion thread. :D 8)

As I look at the manager rankings for everyone else in this league, I realize that I am truly a little boy among men.

What I am really interested in seeing is whether Steve Ames gets as annoyed by my Montreal Olympians in 2006 as he did in ATG 2.

Good luck to everyone in the draft tonight. Based on a different discussion thread, I know that Jeep and I will check to see where we are in waiver priority first before looking to see at who we have on our roster.

Funny. I also check to see where I am in waivers before looking at the team.

I truly hope my luck with the Olympians is better than it has been. However my inital showing in ATG 3 has been absolutely dismal. Little bit of a learning curve and for me that's hard !

Steve - if it is any consolation, the Olympians haven't ventured over to ATG 3 yet. I can only handle a couple of teams at a time and am busy with 2006 right now.

The last two drafts I was in (they drafted the same night) which just drafted a couple of nights ago, in one league I had 1st waiver pick and the other I had 12th and last waiver pick. I was elated when I saw 12th, but dismal when I saw 1st. Much rather get the players I want and a low waiver priority. :)

The only one I remember for sure is Ortiz as my #1. Can't remember much of the order, just the players.

Available:

Howry
Sweeney
Garabito
Peralta

And others can be available too, if interested in those mentioned and/or others just shoot me an e-mail.

BTW, I'm next-to-last in waivers, but I didn't do as well as you would expect. I didn't get my #2 choice (Tejada) and I missed on another guy pretty high up also (Clark)

Jeep - after losing out to you on Tejada in Round 1 I ranked him 1st this time.

I'm last in waivers. My draft strategy almost worked to perfection, picking pitchers first and then listing Fenway type players, with my top players being ones I hoped noone else wanted(Helton and Ellis) down at the lower end of the draft card. I missed on Crawford, Duffy & Ichiro somewhere in the top 12. I considered drafting both Pedro & B Roberts, who no one else picked, but then I played it safe(as usual) and left them off. Pedro, Zambrano & Carpenter would have been nice. Whether all this resulkts in a winning team is open to question though.
Top 5:
1)Zambrano
2)Carpenter
3)Smoltz
4)Peavy
5)M Young
6)Figgins
