I'm also shopping Benito Santiago for someone wanting a front-line C for the next 2 seasons. Want a good return for him, though.

Albert, it's not very polite to advertise a Fire Sale and then not show up for it.

:(

Sorry BC. Been out all day with the family. But I'm home now and ready to wheel and deal. Hopefully, Nolan, Moseby and Co. will find some new homes this evening.

Thanks Albert. Enjoy Charlie.

Anyone else around to do one more last-minute deal? :D

One series left

Postby BC Manager » Fri Sep 08, 2006 12:31 am

And only a couple of things to be determined:

- how many wins will Hak finish with in his amazing season (currenlty 107 wins!)

- who will take the Wild Card spot? BJS and Runnin' Rebel are currently tied, and they go head-to-head in the final series

Should be an interesting playoff, too. Do your Breakers think they're ready for my Knights, IMB?

You forgot to mention the winner of the Mickey Tettleton/Duane Ward sweepstakes, BC. One more win by Arlington and I've got that baby locked up :) :) :) :( :( :(

Nah, I'm just kidding. I'm aware there's a lottery system. Just trying to put some kind of silver lining on my stinker of a season

Good luck to all in the playoffs. Hak, that was a VERY impressive team you put together. Amazing, there weren't really any HUGE overacheiver seasons -- Joyner and Hayes had big years; but you didn't have Schmidt with 65 HR, or Clemens with 27 wins, it was just a SOLID effort by all 25 men on the roster.

Great job.

When are we going to kick off 1988? I can't wait!

Does YF or BJ or BC or one of our high-tech junkies have a list of all non-roster players that are eligible for 1988?

Hak, 108 wins is excellent and your team is SOLID

I'll do that after the playoff. Once I load the season into my database it will be easy, but I want to wait got the card to be reveled.

Hak, 108 wins is excellent and your team is SOLID. Two teams in 2nd place in the east and [b:f45961615c]31[/b:f45961615c] game out! ouch!

I liked that IMB broke the .500 barrier in the west.

I am all for keeping the ring in the mighty eastern divison so...come on Hak.

I am looking forward to 1988 and will be returning my entire starting lineup. I am looking to deal for a lead-off type hitter.
