I think that's the fun of it, who do you put where. We did one like this last yea I think, I took Hou, missed out on Clemens and was kinda screwed with my pitching the whole way.

btw, Abreu was anAstro orginally :P

Depends on what you think penalized is I'm sure. Let's see, do you want to begin with the current crop of Yankees...ARod, Jeter, Giambi, Matsui, etc. or would you prefer the Royals with Hocking, Gotay, Berroa, and company?

Well, the strategy would come into play for sure. You could put Jeter 24th and Rivera 25th on your draft list knowing only you can get them. Add Matsui in at 23rd and you got yourself a nice beginning base.

If a guy is carded to your team, he's yours. The guys that are in play are the ones who aren't carded to one of the 12 franchises picked.

For those of you worried about picking later, don't be, pick a team you like and go for it, I won the league with the 10th pick (Braves) last time I did this.

If Bigmahon couldn't bring the Cards a good record, I probably can't either, but I just want to play my favorite team.

The only significant rule difference is that in that league you could only spend a max of 4 million on a player that used to be on your team and I've taken the limit off that to be more fair hopefully to the teams whose carded players have lower values at the bottom of the pool.
