BP doubles/triples?

Postby honestiago1 » Thu Sep 07, 2006 10:07 pm

I assume the game uses the super advanced double/triple ratings, right? Any place I can get those for the 80s parks?

AFAIK

Players can still hit triples off of the pitcher's card even in a season where a player had zero triples.

But, now I realized that wasn't your question.

I'm not sure about the ballpark effect stuff.

My exhibition teams seem to produce way more doubles than they should. I mean, Luzinski's double card is good, but 50+ seems way high. Also, I have Cedeno smashing 1-2B about every 8 AB's, which seems ridiculuously high.

I thought that super advanced rules limited triples so as to produce more realistic effects. As in, if a player had no/few triples, had already matched his season-long total, and got another result for one, it was modified to a double.

I'm not sure about that. I do know that, when I play the computer game, the BP 2B/3B ratigns are shown under the MISC section. BP's that increase 2b's or 3b's will be rated over 100 (it'll look something like doubles (120) Triples (70)). In the computer game, I've had triples modified downward to doubles because of that, and the other way 'round.
