I went with an opposite strategy, picking mostly hitting first (except for Heilman who I believe I ranked 4th  ). Still got a nice crop of LH SP's for my Safeco team, missing out on Willis. Petitte is on my "never again" list in spite of him most likely doing well at Safeco. I'm somewhat happy with some tinkering to do. At least I don't have to hope and pray that a decent 2nd or SS will fall to me in waivers and can focus on other positions.
Would still like a stud but you can't have everything in an autodraft. Happy tinkering everyone!!! And of course, I live for trading so offer away!!!
