Magic number has dropped to 5 ... 6 if I want 82 wins ... but we need to go at least 5-7 in the last 12 games - which will be tough with Jeep & qksilver duking it out ...

Wow a normal night for us. We win 2, including a one run game and nothing interesting happens in our loss. I'd almost forgotten what that feels like.

We're trying to get to 30 games under! It's within reach.

Sorry to beat you Big. :(

BTW, Wineman ran some sims. Needless to say, this team is doing FAR worse than any of the 6 sims he's run so far. Usually we're a little over 500 and in the race.

good to know that even with the limited board access I have had over the last several weeks that I can produce pretty much the same record in NLD 14(72-81)that I had in NLD 13(74-88) Either with me at the reigns or with Hal pretty much running things my drafting capabilities still suck when it comes to playing against the elite.Oh well in NLD 15 I am going with pitching and defense and the hell with trying to outslug my competition.It only worked in NLD 12 for me. :oops: :wink:

Won 2 of 3 to inch ever closer to that elusive .500+ season. Hopefully Jeep won't be too mad as I am still 6 back, and being his closest competition for the WC - I'd say he is most likely to clinch a playoff spot with a win tonight.

The race for league's best record is close, too. Sandy, Silver and I are all within 2 games of each other. 8)
