Ouch. :roll: Sorry Niners (but happy for you Big) We score 3 runs in the bottom of 10th (after Niners had scored 2 in the top) to knock him out of the playoffs. :o That smarts. :( Guiel hits a 2 run jack after a single and an error on Sizemore.

Course, Carrasco had blown a three run lead in the top of the 9th to set the whole thing up. It's amazing that it didn't follow our pattern of losing in extras.

Haven't had a playoff tussle with Sandy in a LONG time. Really looking forward to renewing an old rivalry.

A few interesting (to me at least :wink: ) tidbits/observations:

1) Obviously I needed to win the final game after splitting the first 2 with Riggo's Dogs. An unlikely hero emerged:

2) Aaron Fultz was IMMENSE all season long. In fact, he (not Pedro) was my 20 game winner!

I'd rather be in Joe shoes and KNOW I'm gonna loose, than have lead the division nearly the entire season, have the best rundiferential in the division and loose on the last game of the night to the last place team.

Let's hope that in the playoffs my team plays more like the team that had one of the best records in the league the first 75% of the season, and less like the team that finished the campaigne losing its last 8 games. :? :shock:

I won 1 of my last 3, which is about what I was expecting. Would have been interesting to see what would have happened if I'd won all 3 games - or won just 1 more during the season vs. JeepDriver. :wink:

As it - quite pleased to finish with the 5th best record, especially after playing sub .500 ball for much of the season. 8)
