My head is spinning from looking at so many players. Much easier when you don't get pitchers - less to look at. I must have scanned every under 2M player there is. Better get some sleep. You East coasters are probably already getting up. GL everyone. SWP

I think was an okay trade. I much rather have another SP* that is R-balanced, but there are quite a few LH slanted parks in the league.

Yeah, that Central will be LH Central, well except for the oddball Fenway team over there! :D

Got some irons in the fire, if you're interested in ANY of our players (excepting Tejada, Lidge, and Ramirez) come talk to us.

Speaking of which, Res, we sent you an offer.

Well, it looks as if my team has settled in. I doubt any crazy drops are going to happen at this point.

I had better win a lot of 1-0 and 2-1 games because my hitting is [b:eecdd7b1ff]AWFUL[/b:eecdd7b1ff] !! If you guys get to my starters then you win. If I can hold you down and scratch out three or four runs then I win. At least that is the plan. I am going to pretend I never heard of "The best laid plans..."

I have to hope that Freel , Kendall, and Young get on base up to their cards potential and Barry hits the ball out of the yard. I hoping to go 30-10 in games RJ pitches meaning I only have to play around .500 when my other starters pitch to win 90 games. Hopefully 90-95 will be enough for the playoffs.

I haven't had a chance to take a good look at all of the other teams (yet) but it seems to me that we are going to have a low scoring league. The reason I say this is because if you look at the available free agents, all of the top quality, high priced SP* are gone whereas there are -lots- of quality position players available for $5m+.

IN addition, most of the ballparks being used are pitchers parks. There are no Coors (or similar) parks here. The best park for HR for lefties is Shea while the best park is Fenway (BP9). Interesting.

I've never played a $60m league before. It's fun. Makes you look at lots of players that you have never played with (or looked at) before.

Cheers,
Steve
