Since Red Beards is finished drafting, and is in the East division, he can go ahead and set up the league if he wants to.

The league set up is:
NL only sub-set
100M, no DH, 5/10/20 drop penalty, FRENZY

Red Beards, If you don't feel comfortable setting up the league then we can wait till some other East manager has finished drafting. For now you (Red Beards only) can only put players on your AD card from the 2 teams you drafted. After the AD you can add any player you like from the FA pool.

Just an FYI re: a minor rule that many might not have noticed or forgetten about.

The last owner in Round III, along with FA Pool rights, can also use any park that is not being used by another owner.

So if Red Beards wishes to use this 'priviledge', when joining, please PM him your park choice when entering the league, and before I close out the West & league, I'll PM him my choice and he will have the chance to swap parks.

If he prefers to stick with one of the 2 parks from his 2 teams then this is moot.

Are we required to announce what park we plan to use? If not then Red Beards would not know what parks are not being used.

Why would anyone wish to give him, or any other owner, an advantage like that?

I don't think it is that big of an advantage.

If he doesn't choose to use one of his 2 ballparks, then he has to wait til everyone else has picked their park before he can select any of the remaining 22 parks (There are only 35 parks in each setting, take away 11 chosen by others, and the 2 he rejected and that leaves 22). Sort of like having the last pick in a ballpark draft in the SOM Tour, except most of his team is already chosen and there is no guarantee what is left in FA will be of much use.

Also, the only owner you'd 'declare' to would be Red Beards, and only if he decides not to use one of his 2 parks, and decides to see what is behind door 3.

In no one declares then he wouldn't know what parks are being used till after the AD. At that time you can not change your park to my knowledge.

I'll start league and I'll pick one of the two parks from one of my Pa teams. I have to pop out for soccer practice with Kid should start league this afternoon.
