Traditional strat guy asking questions

we actually play two seasons but it's up to you.

I play around 20 teams a year counting the TOUR, and i play multiple seasons with a group of guys(usually four with parks and teams changing). Then I play a few theme leagues which keeps things interesting.

but it's well worth the 25 bucks to have the games played and everything calculated. Since you already use the computer game to actually play your games you already know about some of HAL's idiot moves.

TSN staff is working on incorporating some the features on the CDROM for next year as well....

draft

Postby ymcasport » Mon Sep 18, 2006 7:24 pm

I assume that we will be able to enter our own draft results, but with the 200 mil salary cap, does it ever affect your keeper rosters or is that high enough to not have much effect? I was just wondering how many rules we are going to have to change to participate.

$200 MM cap works fine.

Take a look at threads in the Individual League forum. Look for USKL, USKL2, HCKL (hard core) threads and look at their rules for ideas.

OK, Thanks

But what about keeper leagues and the sanctity of the draft. The waiver process opens up all previously undrafted players, so if we want to save them until next year's draft we need to create our own rule to make them off limits, right?

With keeper leagues you aren't really using the SOM draft process. If everyone enters the players that are on their keeper rosters then the draft runs but doesn't do anything.

It's simple to make a rule that non-roster/drafted players are off limits.

teams

Is a 12-team league the only option? If I run our own league will it start when SportingNews says it will or when we set it?

Only 12 team leagues. The league starts Monday night following the last guy in. (but I think you need to fill before Saturday or it waits until the next week)
