Niners,

At least you lost to an underperforming, highly rated, last place team.

[b:49561f0bb8]Team Awards:[/b:49561f0bb8]

MVP - B. Abreu

Was the sparkplug for our offense - scoring 132 runs

CY Young - C. Lee

Very solid performance by Zambrano, but man was Lee impressive!

Rolaids Relief - D. Wheeler

Despite blowing 8 save op's, Wheeler was a workhorse and led the pen in Wins, IP, ERA.

Surprise Performance - C. Lee

Definitely a pleasant surprise!

Disappointing Performance - B. Wilkerson

I wasn't expecting too much from Wilkerson, but I got way less than even what I wanted. Was expecting better performance vs. LHP for sure. Got outperformed by N. Perez & C. Izturis. :x

Glad to see I managed a split last night. My only hope now is to be able to do that again so I can get Griffey back for Game 5 with Santana on the mound. (Fingers Crossed).

Tied 1-1 would look plenty good right about now...

Well unfortunately I couldn't manage a splilt. It's hard enough trying to beat a Silver team in the p/offs, but when you're a Cell team and he's a Petco team with HFA that makes it extremely difficult.

Obviously my only hope is to hold serve at my house and try to take it to a 5th game and throw caution to the wind. Uh, no hope! :(

Well, no such luck Big on making it to Game 5 for me but congrats on the vistory. I could have used Griffey's bat but it was poor management on my part not to have anticipated a 15 gamer when I had a 10 game lead.

Another life lesson. :(

I don't have an injury to blame it on...

Congrats to QK. 8)

After a 10-1 blow-out in Game 3, Game 4 was more a shoot-out, with two 5-run innings by QK prevailing 10-7. I lost despite hitting 6 HR's in the finale.
