Do you need to rest position players?

Will performance be impacted if you start a player every day? How about if he was not an every day player on his card?

There is no impact on position players by playing them everyday regardless of the number of at bats they had in real life.

I do like to rest players before playoff to avoid injuries though (if I have a lead in the standings)
