Alright, first pick in the draft. When are we planning on having the draft site ready to go?

Gonna be a loooooong season....

What's the link for the draf site again? I've got a laptop now and my link is gone....

tws

PS - Thinking my team will be the Sacramento Governators, in tribute to that great Ivan Reitman comedy and its pregnant star, unless I can come up with something better by next week.....

alright lads...draft is FINALLY set up. through trial and error, lots of errors, python and otherwise, had to keep changing league name, so ignore jr. and junior and go directly to JEWNOIR. now if that doesn't open possibilities for team names, I don't know what will. :P

started excluding some of the high priced n-l guys....man, it's thin enough without having to wait til the bottom of the round to pick. thank god for al's 72 million dollar salary cap. it's the only hope for us bottom feeders. and if you thought your team sucked in the national league, wait til you see this one, seems like I excluded 3 high priced nl players for every one a.l. I kept.

turtle, you've got administrative rights, as does skipper and balmer. feel free to continue excluding, but please don't repeat my mistake of excluding uggi urbina or anyone erroneously. there are still a couple of high priced guys I wasn't sure of that I didn't remove yet just to be safe, otherwise im through roy oswalt at 3.9million. the hardest ones are gonna be those low salaried guys anyhoo.

Tie-Breaker?

Postby Al Hogg » Tue Sep 26, 2006 10:08 pm

I'm glad to go second in the draft, but I'll go ahead and raise the question before someone else does: What was the tie-breaker that put me ahead of Calbatross? And which of us is in the East and which of us in the Central?

If it matters, Tuesday's Florida number is 876 and Louisiana's has not yet been picked.

Divisions

East
djl3737-Texas 218
BalmerBaseball (GA) 308
rgimbel (CT) 396

Central
Glennglenn (WA) 475
Terry101 (NM) 608
Taters (Minnesota pick 3 lottery) 879

West
kramed (Kansas) 898
SGT D (NY) 978
The Turtle (CA - Midday) 994
He's meat (IL) 930

???
ElkoSkipper/Al Hogg (Florida Cash 3) 439
Calbatross (LA) 439
