I think we should be very deliberate in who we choose to fill open manager slots. Someone wanting to join should have at least one reference here who can vouch for their reliability and commitment. I don't want any more managers that lose interest/disappear for months at a time and force the rest of us (those of us who, at the very least, take the time to read the boards once a week) to wait on them. I can understand and sympathize with "real-life" intrusions into our commitments here. But when they happen over and over again...if that's the case, perhaps you shouldn't have joined in the first place.

as far as replacements, I certainly agree that a track record is most important to long term stability of the league ( and therefore tan increased enjoyment factor for all of us )

If anyone is willing to recommend a replacement manager, that would be great..
