After a narrow loss in Game 1, the Wranglers laid 13 runs and 14 hits in [b:81a53f6858]each[/b:81a53f6858] of the next two games last night. :)

After a good first game, Marlon Anderson, this year's likely "ace up the sleeve" winner went 1-10 for the rest of the series. :wink:

As a team we blew past 300 HR's on the year and opened a 2 game lead over AT in the WC.

After game 1, Marlon Anderson got death threat phone calls! His performance has slipped since those calls. :evil:
Oddly enough, the phone calls were traced to Jeep dealerships in Akron, OH, Twin Falls, ID, Amarillo, TX, and Des Moines, IA. Investigators are trying to piece together the evidence and make an arrest, but it appears to be an organized effort and they want to trace down the kingpin!! At this point, they are pretty sure the culprit drives some sort of Jeep. More to come!

9 games to go! and it is a battle for the WC. My starters may be getting a vacation very soon. I would prefer not to play the Jeepster in the playoffs, so I will root for AT!! :D

I'll take 2 of 3 on the road. But, a big blow with Ryan Howard going down, and for 10 games so if I should win the WC that will be for the first two games of the p/offs, too.

I hope the rest of the guys get a lot of 1,2,and 3s and avoid the pitcher's card.
Yes, I think this is our 80th, 81st, and 82nd games against each other in this league!! :shock: I wouldn't doubt if we are so sick of each other, there will be a brawl and we both lose several players to suspensions! I told Pujols not to hit anyone no matter how they deserve it!! We need him and his 63 HRs in the playoffs....though Escobar really needs to be smacked!! :shock:
