It was also the 3rd highest in the league.

Others had 401 and 391

My team had 346 homers in a 2006 auto-league and in game 5 of the first playoff series I had Roger Clemens pitching for me at home but was blown out. My team had 343 homers in a 2005 auto-league.

In a HR park such as US Cellular it's important in my view to focus on getting HR hitters in non-HR positions such as 2B and SS if you can. Depending upon the season there may be only a few usable players at some positions where usable to me in a HR park means has good ballpark homer and also isn't too bad on defense. For example, I wouldn't ever use a 4 with an average-or-worse e rating at 2B just so I could hit homers. OF usually has plenty of good HR hitters so I generally wouldn't worry about that early in the draft. In any case I would never pay much at all for anyone who doesn't have a lot of ballpark HR, someone like Ichiro is good for the money but in my view is not worth anywhere close to the money for a team in a HR park. Sometimes you have to accept a good defense but poor hitting SS or 2B if that's all which is remaining but I would pay very little for that rather than paying a lot for a good hitter who has little ballpark homer on his card.
